Pulling together Thank you for your interest in Westrope, a company I’m sure you’ll find unique to the wholesale arena. I started Westrope based on my dream of operating a business that was guided by certain beliefs and values. I’ve had the good fortune of seeing my dream come to fruition and thrive. I’ve long been a passionate student of organizational structure and how it relates to truly successful business operations. I believe in a flat structure where management serves to facilitate the job the organization is charged with. If we don’t get the job done for our customers, there’s little need for management. Every Westrope associate has day-to-day production responsibility. We are a company of brokers. Some days I lead, and other days I follow and provide support. While ego is important in the brokerage business, knowing when to subjugate ego for the good of the whole is just as important. I’ve worked for a national broker; competed against hundreds of firms and other brokers; and evaluated the strengths and weakness of various leaders and organizational structures. I’ve learned much. At Westrope, we’ve created a culture of success through excellence, expertise, a commitment to winning with honesty and integrity, and a burning desire to succeed. I’m deeply proud of what we’ve achieved and how we’ve contributed to our customers’ success. And I’m proud of the individuals who’ve trusted me with their livelihoods and believed in me enough to embrace the values and ideals behind this organization.
